The Tennessee Titans have interviewed three candidates

Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur was the third to interview for the job.



The Titans announced Friday they had concluded LaFleur’s interview.


LaFleur Jordan Scarlett Jersey , 38, is coming off his first season as offensive coordinator, though Rams coach Sean McVay called the plays. LaFleur was quarterbacks coach with Atlanta in 2015 and 2016, the year Matt Ryan was named NFL MVP and offensive player of the year. He also coached quarterbacks at Notre Dame in 2014 working with Everett Golson.


In four seasons with the Washington Redskins Greedy Williams Jersey , LaFleur was quarterbacks coach and worked with Robert Griffin III. Griffin became the first Redskins rookie quarterback named to the Pro Bowl. LaFleur started in the NFL as an offensive assistant with the Houston


He started coaching at his alma mater Saginaw Valley State where he played quarterback. He also coached at Central Michigan and Northern Michigan.


The Titans interviewed a pair of defensive coordinators Thursday in Houston’s Mike Vrabel and Carolina’s Steve Wilks to start their search to replace Mike Mularkey, fired Monday after going 21-22 with the franchise’s first playoff win in 14 years .

(AP) — A person with knowledge of negotiations says the Jacksonville Jaguars and free-agent linebacker Jake Ryan have agreed to terms on a contract.The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity Sunday because the deal had not been finalized. The person says the deal is contingent on Ryan passing a physical.The 27-year-old Ryan missed all of last season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during training camp.A fourth-round draft pick by Green Bay in 2015, Ryan started 27 games for the Packers during his first three seasons. He also was a core special teams player.The Jaguars have little experienced depth behind starting linebackers Myles Jack and Telvin Smith, and Ryan could end up being an upgrade over backups Donald Payne and/or Blair Brown.His pending arrival also could allow Jack the flexibility to move back outside. Jack replaced retired Paul Posluszny in the middle last year, but made more plays as an outside linebacker in 2017.
